We encourage you to visit Canada House Gallery in Banff or at canadahouse.com before you submit
your portfolio. Please consider the selection and quality of
art work available in the gallery.
Canada House Gallery exhibits Canadian artists
at all levels of their development, including emerging, mid-career and senior artists. If you think
your work would be successful in this venue then
please proceed to the submission process outlined below.
E-submissions should include the following:
A brief artist’s statement
A current C.V.
10 – 20 digital images
Current contact info

Submissions by post should include:

10 – 20 printed or digital images on cd (no slides please)
Current contact info
Include a self addressed, stamped envelope large enough to contain the material submitted for review.
Submissions by post that do not include a SASE with
sufficient postage will NOT be returned.

1. Do not send or bring original works of art.
2. All images should be numbered and identified with an accompanying list
indicating title, dimensions, medium, date, value and availability.
3. Exhibitions catalogues, press clippings, etc. should be included.
4. We are unable to spontaneously view portfolios or applications during
business hours. Please do not bring unsolicited examples of art work to
the gallery. We will not be in a position to look at or comment on the
work.
5. Meetings with artists are not conducted prior to portfolio reviews.
6. We receive hundreds of applications a year. Submissions
are reviewed within 8-12 weeks of receipt.
If we are interested in representing an artist, we
will follow up with a reply.
7.We represent
Canadian artists only. Foreign
applications will be deleted. |
