Sandpiper Studio

Sandpiper Studio was founded in 2009 by partners Julie Gibb and Gordon Webster after they met working as artists in residence in Toronto, ON.

Using traditional glass blowing techniques, we also hand screen print glass enamels to make our own decals. Once our screen printed decals are made we apply them to our glass forms and then refire them in a kiln. This process enables us to achieve printed imagery and or pattern which is permanently fused to the glass surface.

It is our intent to carry forward traditional glass making techniques with modern aesthetics and design sensibilities in order to produce meaningful and functional objects that resonate in our daily lives.
