| The Raven in "Winter Tale" is carved from black jade from Ogden Mountain. This source of black jade is completely mined out. Lyle acquired the jade from the estate of the renowned Canadian jade carver David Wong. Lyle has captured this bird in action as it comes in for a skidding, slippery landing. |
